Kati and Tyler met during their bachelor’s program in college, but their story really began when they were paired for a final project. What started as a study session at a pizza place in Maple Valley turned into hours of talking, laughing, and the beginning of a great friendship.

Despite Tyler's best efforts, Kati kept him firmly in the friend zone for nearly a year. Luckily for Tyler, persistence paid off, and he eventually earned his promotion from "just a friend" to boyfriend. Since then, they’ve graduated together, celebrated career and educational milestones, and built a life side by side. Tyler proposed at the summit of Rattlesnake Ledge, a hike they did near the beginning of their relationship that has remained one of their favorite memories together. They are so excited to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with all of their favorite people.
