Kati and Tyler met during their bachelor’s program in college, where they were part of the same cohort. Their story truly began when they were assigned as partners for a final project and met up at a pizza place in Maple Valley to work on the assignment. What was supposed to be a quick study session turned into an entire day spent talking, laughing, and getting to know each other.

For the first year, their relationship stayed firmly in the friend zone, despite the strong connection they shared. Eventually, Tyler officially made it out of the friend zone, and the two started dating.

Since then, they have built a life filled with milestones, adventures, and unwavering support for one another. They graduated together with their bachelor’s degrees, Tyler began his career at HP, and Kati later earned her MBA. Through every stage of life, they continued to grow side by side.

One of the most memorable moments of their journey came during a hike at Rattlesnake Ledge in Washington, a place tied to one of their earliest adventures together. At the top, surrounded by beautiful views, Tyler proposed, completely surprising Kati. She happily said yes.

Together, they have created a relationship grounded in friendship, laughter, support, and love. They are incredibly grateful for the memories they’ve shared so far and are excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people they love most.
